The Middle Ages


The middle ages. Started around 400 AD, around the time of the Roman Collapse, which is seen as the end of the Ancient World. The middle ages goes on until around year 1500 with the renässans, Enlightenment and maybe even around the French Revolution in 1789.

The greatest document ever written: New Constitution of 1791: Nationalism - Universal.  When the New Constitution came out, hundreds of men in France went to the cities and joined the army. Today, it is a national Constitution and it has spread all around Europe and even around the whole world.

The Migration Period:
The Migration Period is characterized by the movement of new tribal groups through Europe 400-800 AD. The mass movement of theses people brought the Roman Empire into collapse and greatly influenced later periods of European history. 
People started to move around and some of the first people to migrate were the Goths. They originate from Scandinavia, from Gotland in Sweden as you hear in the name Goths. So the actual start of the fall of the Roman Empire were because of Swedes haha…

  • Skills multi-culturalism

Disadvantage:
  • Loss of Swedish traditions
  • New national identity
  • Strain on welfare system
